This is a corporate owned chain that will do everything in their power to extract every penny from your bank account. Years ago one of their veterinarians told me that they could not do a rabies booster during that day's visit, and that I would have to bring my pet for another visit in two weeks because "the state doesn't like it when we do that one early." This was a BLATANT LIE. The state only cares if a rabies vaccine is late! They wanted to get another office visit charge out of me. I was reminded of VCA's existence because they found out I adopted a new pet and have called me multiple times and even sent me a text telling me to install their app as if I have already agreed to be a patient. This is money-grubbing behavior. Ethical veterinary clinics do not act like this. Go elsewhere if at ALL possible. The attached photo is a screenshot showing that they last texted me in 2021 (the 3-year rabies booster from 2018 was due) before texting me again today, 9-12-26, to tell me to download an app.

Vet put off a weird vibe, but the nurses were lovely. One time visit. One and done. I'll be taking the longer commute to our old vet. 💕
